Vegans beware! This post contains violent scenes of beef. A wonderfully warm weekend in London led me to sketch along The Thames before joining Oscar and Patricia for a spectacular BBQ! Blimey.
Old Beams Inn
I spent this weekend down in The New Forest. I wanted to sketch The Old Beams Inn in Harbridge and reference it for "The Admiral Benbow" in Treasure Island. The wonderful thing about walking and drawing is the unexpected things you discover on the way. For instance, the little red plough may end up as an interesting detail in the final illustration.
